Position Description:
CRI is seeking a Genomics Research Specialist. The position will support CRI efforts in developing programs to enhance the cooperative's global leadership position in dairy and beef cattle genetics working with CRI research and Genex genetics staffs in a highly collaborative team environment.
The successful candidate should be able to manage and process large data sets and interact with other staff members in applying them to specific objectives. He or she should be a
self-starter but able to work collaboratively with others.
Some of the key responsibilities will be:
* Develop project-specific data management plans that address areas such as data coding, reporting, and transfer.
* Coordinate receiving, processing, and tracking of data from internal and external sources
* Write work instruction manuals for data capture and processing.
